We carry the standard levels contractor insurance required under municipal contracts.  We indemnify, hold harmless and perform no work without a written contract.  There are basically three levels of deconstruction and demolition services with which we get involved.

Deconstruction Services

Full Deconstruction / Full Salvage

We disassemble buildings that have a high content of reusable materials.  This includes taking all building materials down to the foundation.  Demolition contractors usually remove foundations.

 

Partial Deconstruction / Partial Salvage

We disassemble significant fractional portions of buildings that have a high content of reusable materials.  This may include load bearing structures.  This often includes large dimensional lumber, trusses, flooring, doors, windows, lighting and plumbing.  Demolition contractors then knock down and remove the remaining balance of the structure.

Select Deconstruction / Select Salvage

We disassemble select portions of buildings that have a high content of reusable materials. This does not include removal or tampering with load bearing structures.  This often includes removal doors, windows, lighting and plumbing. Demolition contractors then knock down and remove most of the structure.
